External Searchbar

Overview

If you do not want to use a search bar in the header, you can add an External Search Bar directly to your page content. Use this search bar to access the webshop and to search your media archive. For the best user experience, place the search bar in a prominent location where customers can easily find and use it.

Add an external search bar

  1. In the Main Administrative Menu, navigate to Content.
  2. In the Content Overview table, select the page you want to modify, and click Edit. This opens the page editor.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page editor. From the Add Section dropdown menu, select Add External Searchbar.
  4. Configure the required fields and display options as described in Field Reference below.
  5. Save your changes.
