Page anchors

Overview

On long or visually dense pages, anchor links improve navigation by allowing users to jump directly from the table of contents to specific sections.

Add an anchor label

First, create an anchor label to a section and then use it as a link target.

Create the anchor

  1. On the desired section of your page, enter a name in the Anchor Label field below the text editor.
  2. A corresponding hashtag (anchor link) is generated automatically.
  3. Click the hashtag to copy it to your clipboard.
  1. Select the text you want to turn into a link.
  2. Click the Link icon in the text editor.
  3. Paste the copied hashtag into the link field.
  4. Click Save.

Users can now click the link to jump directly to the selected section.
